Summery Strawberry Mojito

Updated: Apr 16

Made, Written & Photographed by the Creators of the Point

Refreshing. Fruity. Sweet. This Mojito takes you to a beach far away – which let's face it, is where we all want to be.

The first time I had a Mojito was in Panama. It was authentic and so good! Ever since, I've been trying to make my own Mojitos here and there. It's always a good recipe for the hot summer day.

Summery Strawberry Mojito

Total Time: 10 minutes

Special Tools: Drink Shaker & Muddler

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 cup strawberries coarsely chopped

  • 1 cup ice cubes

  • 1/2 cup white rum

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 cup club soda

Instructions:

  1. Combine 1/2 cup mint, 3 tablespoons sugar, and 1 cup strawberries in a cocktail shaker. Muddle until broken up and combined.

  2. Add one cup of ice cubes, 1/2 cup white rum, 2 tablespoons lime juice and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Shake for 10 seconds.

  3. Fill 2 glasses with ice and strain the rum mixture evenly into each. Top with club soda.

  4. Add additional strawberries, limes or mint to garnish!
